Some of the online shoppers believe that the products they purchase are taxed free. But then, I think it could be impossible for one company or business state that they don’t even collect sales tax. The truth is, consumers are then required to pay their tax on whatever items they purchase, whether they purchase it online or through mail-order. Because those tax will also pay for the government and they used all the taxes they’ve collect for the general purposes or general welfare of the people. But sometimes there are certain types of products that do not have any sales tax.

They say that “the best way to maximize their traffic and conversion is to hire to separate companies to manage the Design and Development of a site.” It’s true, and it can give some benefits to the company, but since there are two separate companies working in one, maybe some of their thoughts may not vary from time to time. They can’t assure that the site they’ve create fit’s the needs of the user. For the user not to visit another sites, their website should have the following:” must have a good design, well-formed layout, accessible relative content, keywords strategically placed throughout, correct heading, paragraph, and link tags and even the code must be written in an accessible and search engine friendly manner”.

So, the most advisable thing to do is to hire “single firm with a proven track record that has experience doing both.” So that he/she can maintain and manage properly the site and also he can incorporate to the success of his company.

SUMMARY

In the past years, e-bay was the most popular, most visited website and people spent more time browsing their pages rather than any sites specifically Amazon.com. One of the reasons is that: “eBay is a wide open forum for every kind of seller and item, while Amazon has traditionally pushed a selection of products through its network of physical warehouses”.

Nowadays, a lot of changes made, people are now using Amazon because they said that while they are browsing e-bay pages a lot of problems occur, that’s why they preferred to use Amazon. And according to Nielsen Online Amazon became the top rated e-commerce site. Nielsen said that “For the month of December, for the first time, more Americans clicked over to Amazon.com (59,624,000) than eBay (59,374,000)”.

With this particular issue, it only means that people should easily get data and information they needed in Amazon than e-bay. And some says that e-bay is not a seller-friendly. So, for us who want to build this kind of site, we must assure that people may satisfy what they are needed when they are browsing our site because for so many sites who buys and sells products we should maintain what we have started so that our customers would not switch to other.
